Hororata Pastures is located in the Hororata area, with the Southern Alps providing an impressive backdrop.

The farm joined Pye Group in 2026 following its purchase from Allan Pye’s estate and is supplied by the Central Plains Water irrigation scheme. Allan was an inaugural investor in the scheme and his passion for water and pivot irrigation saw him develop a number of farms within the scheme.

Hororata Pastures is contract milked by Tony and Armyleen, who previously contract milked the farm as part of AJ Pye Farming and have built a reputation for producing exceptionally high-quality milk, with consistently strong results that are a credit to them and their team.
