Highfield Dairy is located west of Rakaia and forms part of a wider arable farming property originally owned by Allan Pye. Leighton and Michelle became shareholders in Highfield in 2004, before becoming 100% owners in 2024, with the dairy farm itself converted in 2011.

Fully irrigated from groundwater, Highfield operates a grass-based system with in-shed feeding, Protrack and cow collars.

It is contract milked by Sam and Shannon, who began their Pye Group journey at Dialan 2, at one stage contract milking both Dialan farms before progressing to Highfield. They place a strong emphasis on developing their team through Primary ITO, on-farm learning and individual development plans built around where each person wants to go.
