Grantlea 2 was converted in 2012 following the development of the Rangitata South Irrigation Scheme, which has enabled significant growth for both Pye Group and the wider district.

The farm is fully irrigated with a grass-based system, in-shed feeding, Protrack and cow collars, and supplies Fonterra.

Grantlea 2 is contract milked by Alex and Anita, who came to New Zealand from South America and joined Pye Group at Dialan 2 in 2023 before progressing to Grantlea 2 in 2026; we’re proud to have supported them as they’ve built a new life in New Zealand and continued to grow their careers in dairy farming.
